«My Kingdom», Grade School Adélard Desrosiers (Montreal) - 2021/2022

Description

Students had the chance to explore resilience and identity through building their imaginary kingdom (animal world) and creating their hybrid animal.
During each workshop, students had the opportunity to be introduced to different animals (aquatic, jungle, domestic, farm). These young people pictured the animals they wanted to invite into their kingdom according to their strengths and characteristics. Their Kingdom is a reflection of the unique strengths of the students and the expression of identity celebrating their uniqueness.
The exhibition of the works is the culmination of the project and the opportunity to celebrate the creation of these unique Kingdoms, rich in color and creativity!
