Legacy donation and other planned giving
Planning a donation through a will is an excellent way to take a significant action to ensure that the Société de Saint‐Vincent de Paul de Montréal can continue its mission of support. Your values are part of your legacy. Several options are available. Whether through a bequest in your will, a life insurance donation, a donation of securities or an RRSP, you can choose an amount that suits you. No need to leave a fortune for your donation to be valuable.
Bequeathing a donation in your will, no matter the amount, confirms your support of the Société de Saint‐Vincent de Paul de Montréal and ensures it can continue its mission of supporting the needy.
Your will is your final statement about the values that you hold dear. Most people leave an estate at the time of death even if their assets are very modest. A legacy bequest is an action that makes all the difference; it is long-lasting and spreads hope in the community for generations to come.
You don’t have to notify Société de Saint‐Vincent de Paul de Montréal that your will contains a bequest in its name. However, we encourage you to let us know so that we can share our recognition and our thanks with you during your lifetime. Rest assured that we will keep your commitment confidential, if you so wish.
