Who can get help?

Our services are offered to anyone experiencing financial distress, regardless of his/her culture, language or religion.

What type of help is available?

  • On-site food assistance and food vouchers
  • Clothes, furniture and other goods
  • Help with school fees
  • Counselling and referrals

Please note that service availability can vary from one help centre to another, depending on their respective financial resources.

How to get help

To get help, a request must be made at the SSVP point of service in your neighbourhood.

Enter your postal code above to identify your point of service.

Contact us by telephone and leave a message. One of our volunteers will call you back within 48 hours. He or she will give you an appointment and explain the steps to take to obtain help. You will be asked to provide certain documents for evaluation of the support you can receive.
