Since 1994, Opération Bonne Mine, a school perseverance program established by the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul of Montréal, has been providing concrete support to children and youth from low-income backgrounds. Our mission: to promote academic perseverance and help break the cycles of poverty and exclusion.

Each year, we support families, students, and school teams through tangible, human-centered initiatives:

  • A back-to-school financial aid campaign to ease the burden of school supplies and fees.

  • Academic perseverance scholarships to recognize the efforts of young people.

  • Art therapy projects in schools, providing students with a space for self-expression and well-being.

Operating in Montréal, Laval, and the L’Assomption RCM, Opération Bonne Mine firmly believes that every child deserves the same opportunities to succeed, regardless of their circumstances.
