A simple, free, and community-driven service
“We’re Moving With You” is a free home pickup service for people moving within Montréal, in the Ville-Marie and Plateau-Mont-Royal boroughs.
Instead of throwing away your furniture or figuring out how to get rid of it, we come directly to your home at the time of your move. Collected items are then resold at low cost in our Chez Vincent stores to:
- Help people in need in your neighborhood
- Provide essential goods at affordable prices
- Fund our community programs

How does it work?

Sign up online
Fill out the form with your information and the items to be collected.
Step 2
We schedule the pickup with you
Our team will contact you to confirm the details.
Step 3
We pick up your items
On the scheduled day, our team comes to your home. You don’t need to do anything else.

- Armchairs and sofas (2–3 seats)
- Dining tables (4 to 6 people)
- Small desks
- Box springs
- Lamps and small decorative furniture
Items must be in good condition and reusable.

Frequently asked questions
Is the service really free?
Yes, the pickup is completely free.
Do I need to be present during the pickup?
Yes, someone must be present to hand over the items to our team.
Can I use this service to donate clothes and/or dishes?
Not specifically, but if you have clothes or dishes to donate, we can collect them during your furniture pickup.
Can my furniture be refused on pickup day?
Yes, if the photos are not accurate or if the item is too damaged and deemed unsellable by our team.
Can I donate multiple items?
Yes, you can list all items for pickup when registering.
If I live on the third floor, can I still use the service?
Since our handlers are not trained movers, we can only service ground-floor or first-floor units, or buildings with an elevator.
Can I participate if I live outside the service area?
The pickup service is currently only available in Ville-Marie and Plateau-Mont-Royal. If you live outside these areas, you can still support the mission by bringing your donations directly to one of our Chez Vincent stores.
